Quick facts about our pool spring start up kits: All chemicals are formulated and pre-measured to treat pools of specific sizes. Powerful chlorine shock will give your pool an extra boost of fighting power to eradicate the bacteria and other contaminants that have accumulated in your pool over the winter. Stain, rust, and scale preventer eliminates unsightly stains caused by minerals and is ideal for areas with heavy iron content in the water. Non-metallic algaecide kills and prevents algae blooms without staining your pool. Clarifier coagulates fine dirt and debris to enhance filtration results. Sun Sorb absorbs oils and lotions from the pool water.
Basic kits treat up to 7,500 gallons. Kit includes: 1 Pint Algaecide (non-metallic); 1 Pint Stain, Rust, & Scale Preventer; 1 lb. Chlorine Shock; 1 Pint Clarifier; and 1 Sun Sorb
Deluxe kits treat up to 15,000 gallons. Kit includes: 1 Qt. Algaecide (non-metallic); 1 Qt. Stain, Rust, & Scale Preventer; 2 lbs. Chlorine Shock; 1 Qt. Clarifier; and 1 Sun Sorb

Ultimate kits teat up to 35,000 gallons. Kit includes: 1/2 Gallon Algaecide; 4 lbs. Chlorine Pool Shock; 1 Quart Clarifier; 1 Sun Sorb; 1 Quart Pool Magic with Phos-Free; and 1 Quart Metal Free
Pool Start-Up Kit Instructions
Step 1.
Begin filling the pool. Add the stain away following the directions for use on back of the bottle. This will help control minerals that are in the fill water, protecting your pool from staining and scale formation.
Step 2.
As the pool is filling, add clarifier following label directions. Add the Sun Sorb into the skimmer to absorb oils for up to 30 days.
Step 3.
Once the pool is full, start the filter and circulate the water, and allow the system to recirculate the water over night. This will allow complete mixing of the clarifier and stain away with the pool water.
Step 4.
Once the pool has recirculated overnight, Shock treat the pool by using the pool shock. Broadcast shock directly into a concrete pool, but dilute shock in a bucket for vinyl pools. Brush any settled particles immediately.
Step 5.
After 24 hours, add Algaecide according to label directions for initial treatment. Run filter nearly non-stop and clean or backwash the filter as needed. If pool is still green, re-check pH level is below 7.4, and shock the pool again.
