HTH Super Algae Guard 5-in-1, Kills and Prevents Algae in Pools, 1 qt
Kill and prevent green, black and yellow algae with HTH Super Algae Guard for swimming pools. The non-foaming algaecide helps ensure maximum clarity and quality of the indoor and outdoor pool water so you can get back to swimming as soon as possible. Plus, the concentrated formula is also compatible with salt systems.
DIRECTIONS
Add the proper dose of algaecide directly to the pool water in several places with the pump running. After adding the product, keep the pump running for several hours and wait at least 15 minutes before entering the pool. For best results, use Super Algae Guard in conjunction with a shock treatment.

i cannot say enough about this product, pored it al in 1 qt on a dirty pool , clear it next day, follow instructions trick is let filter run backwash dirty water out of pool
This stuff seems to work. Our pool is an 18ft.rd.above ground pool.Used is a few times after scrubbing,and vacuuming pool of dirt and leaves at the bottom of pool first. Then shocked with a 1lb.bag of granuled HTH Shock afterwards. Lastly,we added 1.2ozs of this HTH Super Algea Guard 5 in 1. Water is clearing up from the hazy look prior to cleaning and poring into pool water. No sudsing or foaming.and we kept pool pump running entire time for about 4 hrs.
Easy to measure out with the lines on the side of the container. It worked well on a type of algae I hadn't had before. The algae looked light brown and would disappear like dust when brushed at the bottom of the pool. I used gallons of pool shock ( 12.5% liquid chlorine) too.
