Here is a Vintage Flush Mount Mortise Recessed Bench Dog Stop.  No markings that I see.
Good vintage/antique condition.  As-found, I did not attempt to clean.  Nice patina, operates correctly (could use an oiling)  No cracks or damage to the casting.  As pictured.
