Test your CYA FIRST!   Best to take it to a pool store.
GRANULAR: DO NOT cast granular into the pool, put it in your return skimmer.
TABLETS:  Put in your skimmer, These tablets DISSOLVE FAST, in less than 24hrs, and the tablets break easy, but does not affect
the use of the product.
THIS PRODUCT IS EXACTLY AS LISTED & ADVERTISED.  It is Stabilized and very strong at 90% Available Chlorine, but not as strong as Calcium Hypochlorite.  Others will sell you chlorine with active chlorine of 56% to 73%, but what you will get is Hamburger Helper including sodium chloride (table salt) which is of zero benefit.  There have been complaints that the chlorine does not work as expected.  NO CHLORINE WILL work if your Cyanuric Acid is too high as high levels of Cyanuric Acid totally CANCELS the effect.  When Cyanuric Acid is too high the only way you can remove it is to DRAIN THE POOL.  This product is imported from China, same a almost every other seller.

is affixed to the 50lb and larger Buckets. There are 3 types of Tri-Chlor Stabilized Chlorine #1- In granular form.   90% Active Chlorine.  GRANULAR goes only in the skimmer, but you can put in directly into the pool if you have pop-ups that move the water with your pump on.  It will take overnite to dissolve.  Most all others sell 73% Active Chlorine.  If your Cyanuric Acid is too high the chlorine will not do it's job and is rendered useless

USING THE PRODUCT:
Put directly into the skimmer, it will dissolve between the skimmer and the filter. Allow 12 to 18hrs with pump running to fully dissolve, but you will notice results within 2hrs.
